What's a cosmopolitan city?

Some of you might think: OK. This blog seems appealing but, what does she mean when she talks about Cosmopolitan cities? Which approach is she going to use when choosing the cities she is going to write in depth about?

I've always lived in towns, not particularly big cities, which might be the reason why I feel attracted towards great cities. All the cultural activities, leisure facilities, variety of means of transport which can take you anywhere in the city, diversity of people from different cultures who live together enriching the environment, etc turn them into Cosmopolitan cities.

Barcelona is a great  example of Cosmopolitan city

London is another multicultural city

Some people object to big cities by claiming their citizens lives are more often full of stress and pressure than those of the inhabitants of small cities and towns. Nevertheless, Cosmopolitan cities can offer its citizens and visitors a wide range of activities which towns can't. That's why I feel ready and looking forward to travel, to explore and to visit those cities. Moreover, I hope I'll go to the University Carlos III, in Madrid next year.

Meanwhile, I'll be writing several posts on this blog about the top 5 Cosmopolitan Spanish cities and about the top 15 Cosmopolitan cities around the world, ordered according to how much those cities have drawn my attention and how excited I feel about visiting them.

If you feel enthusiastic about the topic, you'll probably know some youtubers who share videos of their trips and experiences.  Just in case you don't and you're looking for some, I've made a list of my favourite ones:
1-Vagabrothers: they're a couple of American brothers who share videos of their trips around the world.
2- Pedro Rivas: he's a Spanish youtuber who records cover videos, vlogs, language and challenge videos with International Friends
3- VictoriaFlamel: her videos are not about cities she has visited, but about people from various countries. Really funny and worth watching!

Hope you have liked this post. If you have any suggestion or advice, don't hesitate to write it on the comments. I'll be back son with the Spanish Cosmopolitan cities. Don't miss it!
